The Deep End – Part 10 (last?)
Hey folks – as promised, our series on religious trauma and Religious Trauma Syndrome is drawing to a close. It’s been a while coming, for sure, but I’m glad to be turning the page into this chapter. As we will discover together, reconstruction isn’t simply substituting one belief system for another, but rather the choice to trust ourselves as the guides to seeking healing and wholeness. If I say too much more, this email will have to be filed under “spoilers”, so I’ll save the rest for when we’re together. 🙂
We’ll be meeting at the Plett house once again. Details are below. If you need a ride or the address, please let me know either by emailing me, or by phone / text at 204 232 4574. We will start at 10:45 am and end at noon. We’ll livestream here and podcast later in the week here.
We don’t have anything planned for our youngsters (as is usually the case on the 1st Sunday of the month), but it’s a lovely forecast and a big yard with a trampoline, so somehow I think they will figure out how to have a blast without too much input.
As always, we’re looking forward to having you all here.
I’ll see you on Sunday.
