Hello community,

In the biblical book of Luke (my personal favorite gospel), there is a short story with a rather imposing punch line. It is the story of Jesus and the little children, and the aformentioned line is “I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it” (Luke 18:17). What’s that about? It could mean so many different things – and, once again, Jesus seems to be deliberately leaving the interpretation, the contextual understanding of his teachings, up to us.

So, on Sunday morning we’re going to take a run at it. We’ll come at it obliquely though, because that’s the kind of church we sometimes are. So come like a child, complete with your imagination, your attitude, your reservations and your trust. God can be trusted.
