The one with the Technicolor Dream Coat…

Good Morning,

Oftentimes, for those of us who grew up in the Church, the stories of
the Old Testament tend to be over told and unremarkable; simply the
filler for countless Sunday school classes. Yet an interesting thing
has been happening to me as I revisit some of these great characters
of the Bible. The dense layers of subtext reveal a great deal about
how God works through history to bless those who are faithful to him.

This week we’ll be thinking about the story of Joseph (yes, he of the
Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat) and the way in which God reveals a
great deal about his desire to unite the disparate factions of
humanity.
