Blurp & Info Update!

Hey Folks..the following is part “weekly blurp” and part “information update”, so read the whole thing so that we can all be in the same place at the same time on Monday night.

Yes…Monday night. I know there has been some discussion about a possible further adjustment of what evening we will gather, but we are going with Mondays as previously planned. So, just in case that was unclear, we will be meeting for the summer months at 7:30 p.m. on Monday evenings. Our location is The Frame Arts Warehouse, 318 Ross. We are meeting in the “C” Gallery, which lives behind an unassuming white door at the far end of the building, under a small sign that says “318 1/2 Ross”. We’ll put out The Table signs to assist you.  If you go in the wrong door, you will likely find yourself part of the next door “Open Mic” event, in which case you should have some slam poetry ready to deliver.

Furnishings – for the summer (because  there is another regular event in the “A” Gallery) we are improvising a bit when it comes to furnishings. There are some chairs already there, but we could use a few more, so if anyone has any chairs they want to contribute to the Frame Arts Warehouse for use both in our gatherings and in general, bring them along and leave them there. The donation will be welcome.

Carolyn Reimer will be leading our teaching time on Monday. She’s just barely back from some time studying in Jerusalem (who knew that the Israeli nation modelled their constitution on Canada?), so I expect we may enjoy a heady blend of vicarious travel and thoughtful reflection. Come and see…
