This week at the Table: the intersection of chronic illness and faith

This week we’ll be hearing from two members of our community as Judi and Sara discuss what promises to be a fascinating topic. Here’s some info from Judi on what to expect:

“This week’s talky bit is about the journey of faith through chronic illness. Sara Miles and I had a conversation by Zoom last month, which we recorded. While I knew some of the broad strokes of Sara’s health concerns, starting with a childhood cancer, I had never heard the full story before, and specifically got the chance to ask about the interplay of chronic illness and faith – how do they affect each other?  The entire conversation was around one and half hours, so for Sunday we have an edited version, under half an hour, that I will post to Facebook after the musicians’ post. Both of the videos, however, the full version and the edited version, will be up on our new YouTube channel, The Table Church Winnipeg.”

As usual we will be “gathering” in our Facebook Group on Sunday morning at 10:45, but I’ve also included the link to our YouTube channel where the two versions of the conversation are already up.
