A Question of Identity…
Hello Tablers. There are a few noteworthy matters to follow. I hope you can take the time to read all of them.
Kids Table – how can I not be excited about the way this “corner of care” for our little people has unfolded in the past year or so? It’s amazing! And yes, it’s on for this Sunday.
Easter Breaky – we’re not there yet, but it’s close! We’ve been able to have breakfast together before our Easter gatherings the past few years, and we’re planning to continue that tradition this year. We will have to make some adjustments for the environment we’re in at the moment, but we WILL celebrate together! Mark the date, and stay posted for the details…
Talky bit – will build on last week, where we got all math-nerdy about how we humans fairly universally view God as being at the top of the “chain of being”, and how that impacts our understanding of who God is. That, of course, bears quite directly on who we think we are as humans. Jesus has some particularly compact wisdom to offer on this question of our identity, and that’s the terrain we’ll be exploring this Sunday morning.
I look forward to being with you all.
Peace,
Tim
