Concerning the July long weekend…

On which God went to the beach (Jesus was already there, eating fishy crackers and talking to whoever happened to be in proximity): go thou and do likewise.
On this particular weekend, the community of The Table has decided to “go to the beach” as well. (It’s a metaphor of sorts – we’re not gathering at the beach, or anywhere else).
I put it in brackets, but you got it, right? We’re not gathering this weekend.
Next weekend – July 7th – we’ll be at Creative Manitoba. I’ll send out a reminder.
In the meantime, soak up some summer. Do nothing – it’s a sacred skill most of us need to cultivate.
I’ve missed you all, and I’ll see you on July 7th.
