How To Not Play By The Rules
Hello Tablers. Thanks to all of you that have found your way out to our transitional location these past couple of Sundays. It’s been good to gather, and interesting to watch us pull together to improvise solutions and adapt to new circumstances. As I’ve said before, I think it’s good practice for the rest of life, not least of all for the seasons where we find ourselves needing to be on the receiving end of kindness, rather than the giving end.
This Sunday morning, I’ll be leading us on a bit of climbing trip, which includes the dispensation of wisdom from a father to a son, and an encounter with Jesus as the aggressive disrupt-er of the status quo and dispenser of some wisdom of his own. I’ll use pictures, actual pictures, and not just words. (Doesn’t that sound scintillating? Come and see…)
A couple of thoughts and details about this Sunday:
Location: 372 Notre Dame. We’ll make sure to have the sign out. Remember to use the side entrance, not the front one. If you haven’t been yet, that will make sense once you see the place.
Mugs – b.y.o. We gave our stash away when we moved.
Parking – on the street out front, and in the surrounding area…and also in the lot behind the neighboring building (NOT the Calvary Temple parking lot).
Kids Table – little people, unite! It’s a Kid’s Table Sunday!
We started remarkably late last week, even for us. I don’t want to over promise, but we’ll be aiming at getting going a bit closer to our 10:30 gathering time than we have the last couple of weeks. Just a wee f.y.i. for all you sleepy heads….
See you on Sunday.
Peace.,
Tim Plett
