Family Dinner, Complete With An AGM

What? You don’t talk about money at the dinner table in your family?  🙂

This week is a Full Circle Sunday, which means we’ll get underway (same time as usual – 10:45 a.m. at VA Cafe) with some breathing time, music and  Community Time. We will livestream that portion of the gathering here. But then, instead of the Talky Bit, we’ll switch it up and have our (brief but essential) AGM. It’s a chance for anyone who wishes to hear about the operations of The Table in the past year, to ask any questions you might have, and to enjoy a meal together while we’re at it. Information shared in the in-person gathering can be made available to people unable to attend. Just send me an email and we’ll make that happen.

Some potluck details:

• Come whether you have something to bring or not. Food is not the price of entry, and we’ve always had enough.
• If you are bringing something warm, keep in mind that we have no kitchen at this location so bring it in something that can be plugged in to keep it warm.
• We will provide dishes, cups and cutlery, as well as some things to drink. If a hot, special beverage is what floats your boat, there are many lovely options available for purchase in the cafe upstairs.

For what it’s worth, I think this is an important week to be present if you are able. Ongoing community gatherings don’t just “happen”, and this is the one time each year we stop to talk about some essential aspects of what keeps The Table alive and kicking. I hope to see you on Sunday.
