Silence is Golden…

Across the board it seems to be the consensus that God is an all-knowing, all-powerful and all-encompassing being that knows what’s best for everyone, but that, for whatever unknown reason, he is also kind of a quiet guy. In terms of what we understand as human communication, he doesn’t tend to say anything at all. Doesn’t he know what kind of traction a sentence or two booming from the heavens would gain him with all the haters down here on Earth?

This week we’re going to spend some time talking about God’s lack of talking, and to do so we’re going to interact with some great filmmakers and musicians who have taken on this topic of the muted deity.
