Hello Tablers! I hope you’ve been enjoying spring. January temps in the plus degrees, affordable housing, exemplary summers – I expect an influx from Vancouver (recently identified as the second most expensive city in the world in which to live, right after Hong Kong) any day now. So come to The Table while there’s still room…
For those that gather, we’ll be continuing our exploration of Walking In The Dark, a reconsideration of some of our most entrenched ideas about where God is (and isn’t). This week we’ll be turning the old Billy Idol (remember him?) lyric “nice day for a…white wedding” on it’s head, with an ancient story about something of a “dark” wedding where God not only shows up, but is the cause of the darkness. Hmmm…..
