I Doubt It Part 2 – The Importance of Evolving Fait
Nobody faults a baby for acting like a baby. Generally speaking, it’s what we expect. Infancy can even be a stage that caring adults cherish or enjoy, although that experience is far from universal. 🙂 But if our littles don’t grow out of the characteristics of being a newborn, we get concerned. That’s not just true about biological change. It’s also true when it comes to things like faith. This week we’ll start into the more detailed part of our series on doubt with a first look at the model we’ll be using and some reflections on the place we all start – Stage Zero.
We’ll meet here at 10:45 a.m. for some music and Community Time, then move on to the Talky Bit, also on our Facebook page. We’ll have the opportunity to hang out on Zoom in And Lunch After starting at 12:30, and midweek on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. I’ll post the links for both of those gatherings below.
In the meantime, let’s keep doing the things that are kind – washing our hands, wearing our masks, encouraging and supporting those we know and love in the process of getting vaccinated, extending support however we can to those that might be suffering from COVID or challenges that are related to it. This might be an especially good time to send an encouraging message to teachers, parents or other front-line folks we know as they dig even deeper to push through the impact of the third wave. We always need one another, and that’s never been more apparent than it is now. We’ll get there. Don’t give up…
I’ll see you on Sunday.
