Life Lessons From My Dad, On The Occasion of Father’s Day
Hey folks – I know I speak with considerable privilege when I say that I had a good relationship with my dad. It’s not something I take for granted. When we gather this week (at 10:45 a.m.,, VA Cafe) we will explore some of the implications of a couple of lessons I learned from my dad. Not “how to be a dad” lessons – just “how to live” lessons that can be applied in many different settings. There will also be Kids Table, and good folks to journey with. Personally, I think that might be the best part. 🙂
Also, for those who may find the late arrival of this blurb disconcerting, my entire explanation is that it was one of those weeks where I had a hard time deciding which path to take in a Talky Bit. I’ll unpack that a bit more when we’re together.
