I Never Saw That….
Hello Tablers! Just back from a family holiday that took us across most of the prairies and all the way to the Pacific, I feel like I’ve see a lot of remarkable places and vistas. And yet, I know that I wasn’t necessarily attentive to what I might have seen in those places, or encountered in those experiences. I was already excited to be back with you all, but when I got this weeks blurb from Kathy Francis, I got even more fired up to be back! Here’s what she has to say:
Mark 8:18 Having eyes, do you not see?
It is possible to have eyes that see, but not see. We may see but not perceive. Most of us frequently walk by things that we don’t notice. What one person sees is missed by another. Eyesight seems to be linked with understanding and the condition of one’s heart. (Mark 8:17)
This week, I’d like to lead us in a treasure hunt which I hope will improve our powers of perception.
-Kathy
Also, Jonathan Epp (of Independent Jewellers) asked if I would include some info about a possible employment opportunity in this weeks blurb. Independent has a part time (about 5 hours a week) cleaning position available, as their previous cleaning staff have retired. If you are interested, you can contact Jonathan. Contact info is available on their website, which can be found at <https://www.independentjewellers.com>.
I’m looking forward to being with all of you again. I’ll see you on Wednesday evening at 6:30.
Peace,
Tim Plett
