Marking the Presence of God…

April 5, 2015
Hello Tablers,
Tim Penner has been working for a few weeks on putting together the experience we’ll share in our gathering. Here is his summary of what we’ll be exploring:

“There are many astounding events in the Biblical account of the Easter story: torn curtains, darkness at midday, a man rising from the dead; but what sometimes gets passed over is the idea that God felt it necessary to be present on Earth as a human and just what an enormous impact that decision had for the entire course of human history. Everything else in that story (and our story) flows from the fact that the Almighty became a lowly participant in the actions of everyday life. This week we’ll hear from a few members of our community as they explore ideas of what presence means during this season of Easter by sharing some poems, songs and stories.”

And in the midst of all of that, we will also get to participate in a Parent / Child Dedication.

If you can’t make it for the breakfast, please note that our gathering time is the same as usual – 10:30 a.m.

I hope you can make it. I’m looking forward to celebrating the presence of God together with you!

Peace,

Tim Plett
