Tim opened up the conversation for us last week about lent. It was a
beautiful conversation about the “more” behind lent – not letting it
be just a giving up, an embrace of suffering, but letting it be a
reminder of the power in remembering the original story before the
fall.
And really, we want to continue that conversation. This week is the
joy week of lent, according to church calendars. One of the
recommended texts happens to be one of my favourites, about how we are
to carry the work of Jesus into the world. So let’s roll with that.
I’ll see what I can do to keep it interactive, so that we can engage
the topic together!
