FIRST SUMMER MONDAY!

Hello everyone!

Happy weekend!

This week at the Table, be reminded that we`re meeting Monday evening, not Sunday morning.

I`m stepping up to chat about stuff, but I`m not entirely sure what to talk about yet. That is to say, I`m open to ideas. If you’ve got something you`d like to discuss, email me back and I`ll see what we can do. It’s like a choose your own adventure church service!

I’ll probably facilitate some kind of conversation about something. It’s not that I’ve been lazy and haven’t given thought to Monday, it’s that I haven’t landed anywhere yet. There’s lots spinning, but I’m not sure quite how it translates. It might make for an interesting evening.
Here are a few other details that I should let you know about:

Details:
Gathering Time: A reminder that beginning this week and throughout the summer, we will be meeting on Monday evenings at 6:30. Same location (look for the sign, if we have to change galleries).

BYOC: Bring your own cup (although the contents will NOT include coffee over the summer, but rather such seasonal elixirs as iced tea).

Re: Cycling: You can park your bike inside main room – secure and handy, and a possible inspiration to those that almost chose to ride but didn’t.

Test Drives: Summer is a great time to “test drive” a serving team at The Table. It seems that there is no such thing as too many people that want to help, but it works MUCH better if folks are doing things that fit them well. So, if you have been thinking that maybe you would like to be more involved than you are, talk to any of the Leadership Team at a gathering, and we’ll help you get it sorted.  (That team is Tim Penner, Andrew, Mike, Meghan, Maryanne, Brent, Jane, Karen and Tim Plett)
