Ice Fishing March 13th! You're invited!

Hey all!

Mark Sunday, March 13 down in your calendar plan to join The Table’s first annual ice fishing afternoon! It’s like Matthew 4:18, ON ICE!   Following the morning meeting, we’ll car pool to Lockport, MB and enjoy deep conversation and temperatures, and maybe catch something other than a cold.A bit of background.  I (Michael) never in a million years thought that I would enjoy ice fishing until I tried it a few weekends ago.    If you’ve never tried, you will not regret this experience! We are going to have some other activities and a wiener roast to make it fun for all!We’re trying to gather a portable fishing shack and a heater to make the afternoon as comfortable as possible.

Things to bring

• Don’t have any equipment?  Don’t worry about it!
• If you have any equipment (i.e. portable fishing shacks, ice fishing rods, lucky rabbits foot) or know how to acquire these for the weekend, that would be swell.
• Collapsible chair
• Warm clothes (long johns are highly encouraged)
• Snacks for while you’re out there

Things to do

• Email judi@thetablewinnipeg.com if you are a) attending and b) if you can offer rides
• Acquire your fishing license (don’t worry, you can get it on the day).  It costs $13.94.  You can’t legally fish without it.
