I’m excited to be back at The Table this week! It’s been lovely to have some time away, and it also feels good to be home, including the part of “home” that is The Table.

A big thanks to James and Tim Penner for taking on these past two Sunday mornings. I’ll say more about that in person when we gather.

Speaking of which – we’ll meet this Sunday at VA Cafe at 10:45 am. In the enduring grade school practice of reporting on “what I did on my summer vacation”, the Talky Bit will be built around something I encountered while I was away. In this particular case, it involves a glacier. And no – the lesson I learned had nothing to do with moving slowly. That’s something I just do naturally. 🙂

We’ll also livestream here and, in due course, podcast here. For those of you waiting for the podcast edits of what James and Tim had to share, they will also arrive in due course. If you’ve grown up around Manitoba summers, you might know that “due course” is slower in July and August, because…holidays! But we’ll get there.

In the meantime, I’ll see you on Sunday.

Peace,

Tim Plett
