    Community Gatherings

    sundays, 10:45am

Our Gatherings: We meet every Sunday from 10:45 a.m. – 12:00 noon at the VA Café (171 McDermot Avenue, in the Exchange) in the lower level Event Space. If necessary, we post updates about changes to that on our website, where you can also find our weekly blurb and other info about the community including ways to support this adventure financially.

We also livestream our gatherings on our private facebook page, which can be found here.

Category: General Community Gathering at 245 McDermot

    July 7, 2019

Join us for our weekly gathering at 245 McDermot Avenue (4th Floor). We get started with coffee around 10:30am, and community gathering at about 10:45am.

Kids Table is taking a break for the super so you may wish to bring some activities for your littles and we ask all caregivers to help participate in the care of our kiddos Sunday morning.

There are two entrances, the stairs are located at the corner of McDermot & Arthur (SE corner of the building), and the entrance to the elevator (please note it is very slow, but it does work, just requires extra patience) is located along the east side of the building on Arthur Street. Watch for our signs and they'll help guide your way!

Category: General Community Gathering at Mike & Ariel's

    July 14, 2019

Hey folks - on the subject of "something completely different", we're going to spend the next three Sundaymornings gathering at Mike and Arielle's house. It's incredibly kind of them, and I think it'll feel great for us as a community to bring our smaller summer group together in the informal hospitality of a home. Following are some important details about Mike and Arielle's place, not the least of which a the reminder to bring the kids! I know summers at The Table can feel like a big change-up for the littles, but as the info from our hosts notes, there's always a special place for them.

“We’re so excited to be hosting The Table at our house for the next few weeks! If you are looking at this information on the web site, please contact Tim Plett for the address. You can reach him at <tim@thetablewinnipeg.com>.  When you arrive, feel free to use the front or back door. There’s lots of street parking, and you’re also welcome to park behind our house!

By the way, our lovely dog Cocoa will be part of the welcoming committee. She’s a big dog, but loves humans... including little ones! And speaking of kids, we have a play area on the third floor that is kid-friendly, as well as a park and playground behind the house. Looking forward to welcoming our community into our home!”  (Mike and Arielle)
