So about those objects on the table…

Hello Tablers! I’ve got all kinds of good news for you, so I’m going to jump right in.
First of all, as I’ve been mentioning for a couple of weeks, Kathy Francis will be speaking at our gathering this week. Most of you know Kathy. Some of you know her but don’t know that you know her – show up on Sunday and you’ll see what I mean. Here is Kathy’s piece on what she will be exploring:
“The created world speaks of its Creator. In that regard, I view the things I walk by as object lessons or messages. Rivers, snow, trees – they tell me something of God’s ways. In addition, as those who know me would attest, pretty much everything else I see, like statues, art and even food trucks, become springboards for reflection.
This Sunday I invite you to join me in delving into the significance and message behind the icons that adorn the table at the front of our meeting place.”
In other exciting news, this is a Kids Table Sunday. Yeah!
And, after what has seemed like a LONG wait, the grant for our project with Pugeni has been approved! We’re working on a Sunday when we can have in back for an “in person” update. I’ll keep you posted on that one.
The Plett clan is off to Saskatoon for a family wedding, so I’ll see all of you next Sunday.Peace to you,
