This Week at The Table

March 30, 2014

I can be oblivious – the last person in the room to be aware of the environmental, relational, or spiritual reality of what is going on around me. As you can imagine, that isn’t generally a good thing! So working at being more aware is a perenial and necessary task for me.

If there is any good news inside this challenge in my life, it may be that I am constantly bumbling into how much awareness matters. So in the time-worn tradition of “physician, heal thyself”, this Sunday I am hoping to keep us collectively moving along in our exploration of what can help us attend to the presence of God in us, among us and in the world all around us.

Kids Table – This Sunday will be week two for The Kids Table! If you’ve been wondering how you could this happen every week, drop by to say Hi to Amy and to see what’s going on in the ultra-active “back hall” of The Table. The next two Sundays we are slated to have The Kids Table in action are April 20th and 27th.

Easter Dates: a reminder to mark your calender for the following dates – Good Friday on Thursday, April 17th at 8:00 p.m. at 493 Notre Dame. This gathering will be relatively short, and entail a good bit of silence.

For Easter Sunday morning we are planning for a breakfast of some sort before our regular gathering. Details to follow…
